Fàilte gu Lochbaghasdail – Welcome to Lochboisdale. Mooring Licences are available for visiting, monthly and seasonal berths, with use of the facilities as they become available. The facilities available include the use of: sheltered, lit mooring with access to power and water; boat hoist suitable for boats up to 20 tonnes; toilet and shower facilities; disabled hoist; quayside and slipway; and laundry facilities.
Lochboisdale is the ideal Port of entry for visitors to the islands or just to enjoy the recreational and sailing facilities. Around Lochboisdale, you are able to cruise the Minch and inlets of the more sheltered east coast to Barra or hopping up to Lochmaddy or Stornoway. For the more adventurous, the west coast offers unspoilt and deserted beaches and routes out to the Monach Isles and St Kilda.
A day’s sail from Mallaig or by plane from Glasgow and Inverness, Lochboisdale harbour makes the pristine waters of the East Atlantic accessible for a weekend getaway.
